Highlight Incorrect Words
Track audio-text alignment and act only on confident mismatches.
What to look for
- A spoken word that genuinely differs from the transcript
- Substitutions, omissions and changed forms
- Your current position in the text
Decision process
- Follow the text in sync with the audio
- Click only when a mismatch is clear
- Immediately return attention to the next word
- Avoid revisiting earlier uncertainty while audio continues
Common traps
- Clicking because pronunciation sounds unfamiliar
- Losing synchronization after one mismatch
- Over-correcting uncertain words
